The Teacher's Nook was created by Mrs. Frances Pilgrim, a local teacher at the Lockhart ISD. Knowing the difficulty of finding classroom and teaching materials in her area she decide to open The Teacher's Nook as a way to make it more convenient for her fellow teachers and home school parents to find the educational materials they need to make learning easy and fun.

I've made it my mission to supply my fellow teachers and home school parents with high quality educational materials that won’t cost an arm and a leg at a convenient location here in Lockhart. I want to equip them with the things they need to make learning easy and fun for their students at a cost that won’t break the bank!
